When school is closed, is SOAR Open?

SOAR will be closed for 12 Major holidays. We are closed New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the Day after Christmas.  We have confirmed with the school that SOAR will be open on Election Day.

 

Is there care available for Preschool Children?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide care for Preschool Children, however when we have events here at SOAR, children and families are more than welcome to attend

 

 

How does Occassional Care work?
 

For those who need care occassional care, we can help. Give us a call and find out if we have availability. A one day deposit as well as the tuition fee for the day would be due at the time of arrival. All paperwork including immunization records and health inventory would need to be filled out and returned prior to the days needed in care. What happens on Snow Days?
 

We follow the administrative offices in regards to openings, closures and delays. However, if MCPS delays opening 2 hours, SOAR will open on a 1-hour delay. Please be advised if administrative offices open late, that time is added on additional from 8:30am Example: If administrative offices are on a 2 hour delay, SOAR will open at 10:30am.
